MEET OUR CHIEF

In 1995, Chief Davis relocated to Atlanta, GA to work for a security company known as Interstate Protection Services (IPS) providing armed security for Atlanta Housing Authority. He learned different techniques on how to deal with and respond to calls for services related to domestic violence, assaults, and drug activity. He ascended through the ranks to Lieutenant, in addition to working alongside the police department. From 1996-2001 Chief Davis became a certified Fugitive Recovery Investigator (Bail Agent) in Fulton County, GA. Between 2001-2005,Chief Davis also opened his own security company known D.P.S. Enforcement, providing services ranging from personnel working on site to random vehicle patrol.

In 2005, Chief Davis moved to Maryland to start a new career with a local security company as a Roving Supervisor. In 2006, he was promoted to Zone Lieutenant where his duties were to work on contracts that dealt with providing security for multiple sites. He also made routine post inspections and met with clients weekly. In 2007, he was promoted to Captain/Special Police Officer where his duties were to conduct employee interviews and to meet with the owner to brief him on the day-to-day activities. In 2008, Chief Davis was hired to assume the role of Special Police Officer for the District of Columbia Library, working in a branch enforcing the law and protecting staff/visitors.

In 2011, Chief Davis assumed the role as a Maryland Special Police Officer for MedStar Health System. In 2012 he was promoted to a Shift Sergeant. His duties involved enforcing the Maryland state laws and supervising two other special police officers. All these experiences have given Chief Davis insight on how other organizations and law enforcement agencies operate and conduct business. In addition, Chief Davis holds several licenses as noted below.

  • Goals for the Chief – many of which the department has already started implementing. They include:
  • Increasing officer visibility on community patrol, in stations, business complexes, private communities or any location we provide services for.
  • Substantially exceeding training requirements to insure officers’ knowledge & skills stay current and well-versed
  • Building trust and establishing long-lasting partnerships with the communities and business that we protect and serve
  • Ensuring policies, practices, procedures and best practices are regularly updated
  • Creating a stronger working relationship with any local law enforcement on all levels
  • Having an open transparency agency/holding all personnel accountable for their actions.
